When choosing your dress try on as many different styles, lengths and shades or colours as you can. This is the onlyway to find out what works and what doesn't. Take with you someone whose opinion you value and who you know will give you an honest appraisal of each outfit.

Take a pair of shoes with a similar heel height to the ones you will wear on the big day to enure the dress is the right length. Remember that a bride is on her feet for a long time and this is possibly not the right time for six inch heels.
